Description
This is a red velvet cake with a peach cream filling I made for my grandfather's birthday. The cake collar, doves and swan are made of royal icing. For the collar i used a pattern made by

Edit 29th May 2020: This cake just popped up in my notifications and right now I'm sitting here, emotionally busted as my granddad just passed away yesterday. Only saw him last week, I had baked a classic cheesecake with strawberries and pistachios on top because he asked me to make one for him and luckily he liked my first try. Last sunday it was the 65th wedding anniversary of my grandparents... It was so sudden and all I can keep thinking is that he fell asleep in peace and my grandma was at his side till the end.
